About the program

The goal of the IT for SHE program is to help talented women studying IT with entering the job market. It includes: Europe’s biggest themed camp for young women in IT – Women in Tech Camp, a mentoring program at the best technology companies and a volunteering campaign in small towns, encouraging children to learn programming.

Mentoring
program

Do you want to develop yourself? Would you like to learn more about new tools and technologies or find out what’s really going on in global tech companies? Maybe you need support in planning your career path or developing your leadership potential? There is no better and more effective method for development than individual work with a Master-Mentor. Mentoring is a partner relationship focused on finding and developing the mentee’s potential.

Volunteering program
& IT for SHE Kids

IT for SHE Kids is a volunteer program where female students of IT&TECH specialities are going to conduct classes about programming and new technologies for primary school children from small towns and villages all over Poland. The classes are to be conducted in July-September.

The main point of the program is to increase interest in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) area among children, to promote women in the role of technology experts and to activate their social potential.

Would you like to become an expert in new tech? Take part in the training with the best professionals! Choose a school and date when you would like to conduct the classes. Prepare your own educational projects for youngsters in a 2-person team! You can apply together with your friend or just by yourself!

Educators Academy
IT for SHE

We believe that the future of this word belongs to the new technologies. The future of the new technologies is in our children’s hands (equally girls and boys). And the future of children - in their Educators’ hands.

This is why, together with the IT for SHE program partners, we are organizing the 2nd edition of online meetings for STEM educators (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from all over the country. The Educators Academy is a series of online meetings about new technologies and education in this field for educators working with children and young people in Poland.

The goal of the Academy is to support educators, teachers, school principals and educational institutions in professionalising their work. We want to inspire, share knowledge, practical solutions and tools that help to create interesting and inspiring classes teaching programming, new technologies and science subjects for children and teenagers.

The Academy meetings are led by specialists from the best tech companies and STEM education institutions, active teachers and outstanding students of IT fields - the winners of the IT for SHE program

in Tech Camp

Women in Tech Camp is a camp dedicated to the most talented female IT students from Polish technical universities. Were preparing the 6th edition of the biggest theme camp for girls in IT in Europe this year! It is a great opportunity for students to explore the secrets of advanced programming, meet outstanding mentors and plan a professional career and development path in the tech field. The girls will also create a network full of inspiration and support which is going to be fundamental to the outstanding women in IT movement.

Fundacja Edukacyjna Perspektywy

We have been helping young people in making important life decisions, such as selecting a profession, school and university, for over 20 years.

For 15 years we have been supporting young women in choosing technical and scientific studies with “Girls as Engineers!” and “Girls Go Tech!” campaigns. We also organise many inspirational events for young women in technologies and sciences: Lean in STEM, Girls Go Start-Up! Academy, Girls Go Science!, Leadership Academy, Poland IT HUB, the scholarship programs: for female IT students - New Technologies for Women and for girls in GameDev -  Dziewczyny w Grze! . We are also the organizer of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit - the largest event for women in technologies in this part of the world.
